When we started our hydroponic greenhouse, we couldn't find a drop seeder that matched our plug trays. So, we decided to make one ourselves out of wood.
It was a good temporary fix and it showed us that a tool like this could really help. But, we wanted something even better that would last longer and there were a few design points that needed to be addressed. That's why we decided to bring a high quality, customizable drop seeder into the world.

There are a few things on the GreenEase Drop Seeder that are new and unique to it. The first (and my personal favorite) is the hole in the corner that is used for returning the extra seeds to the container. 
All you do is slide the top plate a little further than usual and pour the seeds off the drop seeder! It’s a feature that is a real joy to use. Another feature was suggested by my friend Amos. If you put the top left corner of the drop seeder against the top left corner of the plug tray, the holes on the drop seeder line up perfectly with the dibbles in the center of the plugs. This means no fiddling around trying to line up holes with plugs. And finally, as I mentioned this above, the lack of screws and small parts is a big deal. The world needs simpler designs.
